“Yukon” Brad Booth Hits Straight Flush
December 17th, 2008
During a recent game of High Stakes Poker, “Yukon” Brad Booth made a hand that we all dream about hitting in the biggest televised cash game. After Minh Lee made it $2,300 to go with A-4 off-suit, both Daniel Negreanu and Brad Booth called to see a flop. Booth had 9-8 of diamonds while Negreanu was holding Q-9 off-suit. The pot was $7500 when the three of them saw a flop of 10d-Jd-4c. Lee had a bottom pair of fours, which he came out betting for $3,600. Booth had a straight-flush draw, and Negreanu had an open-ended straight draw. Both called the bet and they saw the turn, which was the queen of diamonds.
