Menard’s consistency has earned him the No. 54 spot in the world rankings by posting 246 money finishes in the last two years. He has had final table appearances in the Full Tilt $750k Guaranteed and $1k Monday tournaments for over $30,000 each, as well as victories in the PokerStars $100 and $50 rebuy tournaments. His most recent cashes include $15,505 for third place in the $55 +R $40,000 Guaranteed NL Holdem, a $16,500 fourth-place finish in the $200 FTOPS Event #13, and a $7,849 score in the $322 NL Holdem at Full Tilt.

His big six-figure Sunday cash has not happened yet, as his most lucrative cashes have only been in the $30,000 range. Menard’s forays into playing live tournaments haven’t been very successful so far, either. He’s only managed to produce one money finish at the 2007 WSOP $2,000 NL Holdem Event thus far, for $4,564. Menard thinks he can improve his deep stack play and become even more consistent in the future. He displays an ability to be successful in any poker room, demonstrating that he’s familiar with many other top online players.

Although we haven’t seen him here at Pinnacle Sports Poker yet, as long as the tournaments continue to grow then “Chipsteela” will soon be racking up racking points at Pinnacle Sports Poker too; he doesn’t miss many big events.
