The country of Canada has produced a few big-name poker stars: Daniel Negreanu and Brad Booth, just to name a couple. But Canada is also producing some of the best online players as well, featuring frequently in world poker news and one of them is rapidly becoming one of the biggest names in online multi-table tournament poker. Jonathan “therookieqq9” Plens has been making his mark on the online poker player leaderboards for more than a year now, and recently has vaulted himself into the pocketfives.com top 10 online player standings by winning the pocketfives.com monthly PLB race in November 2008.
